Succulent Strawberries & Sumptious Cream

With Wimbledon season here, there will no doubt be the increase in sales of tennis racquets and balls in response to the more sporting amongst us.  For some of us it is the delectable delight of palatable pleasures of locally grown produce – Naturally North Coast – that is brought more to mind.  Sumptuous Ballylagan, Claggan or Stranocum Strawberries topped with luxurious Ballyrashane Cream and/or some cool creamy Braemar Farm or Morelli’s homemade ice-cream brings a local flavour to a traditional summer treat.

And for a little taste of indulgence with your cup of tea, try a fresh-baked scone from your local bakery, there’s a list of them in the Naturally North Coast directory.  Add some fresh local cream and Drumnakeel Garden’s homemade jam for a toothsome delight.

To find out where you can get these and other locally produced food products, have a browse through the Local Food Directory section of this website, .

Naturally North Coast is a joint initiative by the four councils in Moyle, Coleraine, Ballymoney and Limavady and is part-funded by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s NI Regional Food Programme.  The aim is to promote quality local food and to increase its consumption in the North Coast area.
